For 25 years, with the support and guidance of our exceptional faculty, our students have risen to the challenge with high graduation rates, college acceptances, and unparalleled success academically and socially.ResponsibilitiesENROLLMENTManage the compliance of enrollment (i.e., collection of residency documentation, support families with registration, and update registration system accordingly).Ensure all student records in the system contain complete and accurate information required for reporting (i.e., residency info, parent-guardian information, emergency contact information, ethnic codes, entry and exit codes, special education or ELL status, lunch status, and all other indicators).Update student information during the enrollment period and periodically as changes occur (address changes, telephone numbers, parent/guardian, emergency contact, etc.).Withdraw students that transfer, no-show, drop-out, or are expelled from the school using the appropriate exit codes.Coordinate with the appropriate school personnel to ensure all special program data (i.e., Special Education) is up to date.Facilitate the transfer of student information between schools.Collaborate with the Enrollment team to support enrollment initiatives for the campus.REPORTINGGather, input, and verify data necessary for internal and external reports to the FPCS District Office and federal and regulatory agencies.Prepare customized reports for site-based needs and assist school-level staff with generating reports.Ensure timely submission of all reports extracted from the student information system.ATTENDANCE AND DISCIPLINEWork with building level administrators to ensure all attendance and discipline data is accurately recorded in the system.Coordinate with the appropriate school personnel to ensure all truancy is coded in the student system appropriately (i.e., Student Support Service Team).Verify teachers are inputting class attendance on a daily basis.Reconcile daily tardy log, excuses, and discipline to daily attendance.Maintain all attendance records in a central location within the school building.Maintain a copy of all suspensions, expulsions, and incident reports in a central location within the school building.Audit the school’s discipline and attendance records regularly to ensure the integrity of the data.SCHEDULING AND GRADE REPORTINGInput the master schedule and schedule students into required courses.Ensure class rosters are always up to date.Coordinate each grade reporting cycle by ensuring all grades are completed within the specified time, and report cards and all other grade reports are printed and disseminated in accordance with the school calendar.OTHER DUTIESConduct training for teachers and all other staff to ensure competency in the use of the program (attendance and electronic grade-book).Coordinate user security within the student information system with District Office SIS administrator.Attend conferences and classes to develop and maintain knowledge of database management and the SIS.Maintain and manage systems (PowerSchool, Infosnap, SLED, and MySchoolDC).Configure and maintain the school's auto dialer that interfaces with the SIS.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma required.Associate degree preferred.Two years of customer-service work experience.At least two years of using a school student information system or an equivalent combination of education and other related experience preferred.FPCS’s policy is to provide equal employment opportunity to all qualified applicants and employees regardless of their race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, veteran status, status as a special disabled veteran, or any other protected criteria as established by federal, state, or local laws.
