The Role

Metropolis is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships - Licensing to establish technology licensing agreements with a diverse range of domestic and international partners across various parking sectors, including commercial, government, university, and closed campuses. The ideal candidates will offer a blend of intellectual insight, demonstrating strategic thinking and effective execution. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for optimizing partnership value through relationship-building, negotiations, and contract management. You should excel at creating strategy and structure in uncertain environments, working independently while staying well-connected with your team and other internal stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesLead complex, multifaceted licensing deals with prospective partners within (1) the traditional parking operator space and (2) the segment of owners or entities, private or government, that opt to self-operateBe a strategic thought partner to team members in different parts of the business, working closely with Ops and Product leadership to formulate strategy and identify how to drive impact through partnershipsBuild consensus behind deal strategy and timely support for deal execution across diverse internal audiences, from senior executives to cross-functional stakeholdersDetermine the right balance between near traction and securing value across a longer time horizonPrepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates on partnership progress and outcomesRequirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required, 8+ years of relevant experience at a fast-paced companyDemonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with partnersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamResults-oriented mindsetExceptional communication and negotiations skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams for complex programsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-makingExcellent presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner

The anticipated base salary for this position is $175,000.00 to 215,000.00 annually. The actual base pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base pay is one component of Metropolis's total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
