A day in the life...

The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator is responsible for resolving operational issues related to daily EDI transaction to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing. This generally consists of tasks maintaining data related to specific trading partners, providing detailed information to internal stakeholders such as the Sales Team to aid in issue resolution. Responsible for monitoring and handling inbound/outbound documents, conducting auditing, handling relevant documents, and networking with partners.

The EDI Coordinator works extensively with information technology (IT) staff and other employees to ensure the EDI program is working as intended. Daily activities performed by EDI coordinators include serving as the initial contact for troubleshooting inquiries, monitoring document transmissions, and identifying opportunities to improve relevant processes.

What you will be doing...

Create open order report including idocs in error status each day before 9am and distribute via email to key stakeholdersActs as a liaison with the Sales, Finance, and the IT team in the resolution of EDI issuesTroubleshoot the issues on orders idocs in error status; resolve them to final sales orders in SAPManage the work around processes for EDI POs which require special handling a timely mannerPartner with Sales to determine the correct RSC material numbers for the UPCs and customer material numbers sent on the EDI POs, then update the SAP tables accordingly.Assist with supporting trading partners to resolve any operational issues.Assist with testing all EDI implementations with new EDI partners, as neededAnalyze current implementation in order to make recommendations for improvementsProcess and monitor all inbound and outbound documents.Coordinate with trading partners to maintain effective EDI relationships and provide support to internal departmentsDo you have what it takes?

(Basic Qualifications)

3 years hands-on experience in administering EDI systems and processesExperience analyzing and resolving EDI processing issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; with specific advanced knowledge of Excel.Organizational skills and attention to detail is required.Do you stand above the rest?

Bachelor's degreeExperience administering EDI systems and process in an SAP environment for a consumer-packaged goods companyAbility to collaborate effectively with internal and external business partnersAbility to work effectively under tight time frames
