EHS Specialist II who will be responsible for supporting the Environmental Health and Safety activities at customer site. The EHS Specialist II role is a hands-on individual contributor who will support Customer EH&S program teams from various departments.Key Responsibilities:Processing daily data maintenance of the CISPro Chemical Management Database, including the Potential Peroxide Forming Material tracking system and data entry auditing.Supporting the CisPro system upgrade and documentation.Support Chemical Management, Solvent Replenishment, and Life Safety Equipment Services.Assisting with laboratory compliance and safety inspections of laboratory spaces by documenting inspection findings/action items.Data entry and QA of the Safety/Compliance software platforms.Reconciliation of inspection reports for all life safety equipment (fire extinguishers, eyewash and safety shower station, chemical spill kits, first aid kits, AEDs, and oxygen cylinders).Conducting field quality ‘spot checks’ of life safety equipment inspections.Coordinating and scheduling Safety trainings.Involvement in the Chemical Hygiene Safety Program.Other duties as assigned.Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related scientific field such as Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering and/or five plus years of related work experience preferred.Professional certification preferred but not required.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Working knowledge of regulations pertaining to EH&S and related compliance requirements with strong attention to detail.Ability to proactively anticipate and resolve regulatory questions, to meet expected timelines for regulatory requirements.Ability to lead and facilitate projects to conclusion, adapt to changes in the work environment, and demonstrate flexibility.Ability to multi-task, keeping company objectives in mind and demonstrating an appropriate sense of urgency regarding high-risk compliance issues, and manage risk proactively.Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Works primarily at customer sites, which may require independent work. Work areas may include spaces where chemical-based allergens are in use (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc.).Personal protective equipment may be worn, including lab coats, coveralls, hoods, facemasks, hairnets, safety gloves, steel-toe shoes (required for all colleagues), bump hats, and/or safety glasses.Regularly required to lift 30 - 40 lbs, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.Benefits

Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in California is $72,000.00–$100,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
