Under the direction of the Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Program Director is responsible for the general administration, curriculum planning, recruitment, and teaching and supervision of the IM Residency Program. The Program Director establishes the strategic direction of the Program and is responsible for the standards, quality, and reputation of such. The Program Director is expected to support integration of the IM Program with physician practices and hospital clinical services in a manner that enhances value and quality, and that promotes an optimal environment for professional practice and medical education. The Program Director will be expected to provide some inpatient and outpatient services related to hospitalist and/or the resident continuity clinic.Clinical Teaching and Supervision of ResidentsCore Program Clinical TeachingGeneral AdministrationGME Committees/MeetingsGME Lecturing/Teaching ConferencesGME Recruiting/InterviewingGME Research/Scholarly ActivityResident Evaluation/MonitoringProgram EvaluationQualifications

Minimum Requirements:Interested candidates must have three to five years of Internal Medicine post-residency clinical experience as well as core faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency program.A minimum of 3 years of GME teaching/administrative experience as Program Director or Associate Program Director.Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills, active involvement in research and scholarship (publications, presentations, etc.), and mentorship experience of residents and students in scholarship and development of scholarship programs.Preferred Qualifications:Inpatient and administrative experience is preferred.This is an exciting opportunity for the right Internal Medicine physician to lead our Residency program and enjoy quality of life and team camaraderie working alongside highly trained physicians and support staff.A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $350,000.00 to $400,000.00 on an annualized basis.The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.Connect With Us!
