This position is responsible for forecasting, planning, and analyzing financial performance of Blue Cross Blue Shield Government line of business. Responsibilities may include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and reporting, updating financial models, and participating in RFPs. The role is expected to provide accurate expense projections of internal staffing, contractors, third-party vendor services, and other general administrative expenses. In addition, the analyst will provide finance support to Government business leaders and other cross-functional corporate teams.Key Responsibilities

Knowledge of building financial models and creating KPI dashboards, including ROI models for business case development and forecasting.Manage internal business partners' ad-hoc projects and collaborate in a heavily matrix environment.Able to present monthly financials at all leadership levels.Provide clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.Able to solve problems independently, detail-oriented, and can summarize large amounts of data into key points.Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft products.Required Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance and 3 years of business experience in corporate financial reporting and budgeting or IT operational functions in IT Financials OR 6 years of business experience in corporate financial reporting and budgeting or IT operational functions in IT Financials.Knowledge of business/financial OR IT/financial models including cost-benefit models for business case development and forecasting.Customer service skills including managing customers' expectations and/or vendor relationships.Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.Presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.Detail-oriented.Preferred Job Requirements

$39,900.00 - $88,800.00
