Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for a hands-on Marketing Director to help bridge the gap between marketing and channel sales for a fast-moving CBD / Cannabis company. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the United States, however a preference is for this position to be based in the Greater Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, area.Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing (www.viridianstaffing.com) is the premier Talent Acquisition & Talent Management Firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a brand strategy.Use existing smoke shop, convenience, or gas channel experience to create engaging multichannel sales programs.Increase brand awareness and strengthen relationships with key retail partners.Develop brand goals and create proactive marketing campaigns aligned with these goals.Implement account-based marketing strategies and analyze current industry trends.Establish a robust reporting framework to analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for improvements.Improve brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, events, execution, and tracking.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.3+ years of branding/marketing experience.At least 1+ years of experience in a trade/channel/retail marketing role in a Cannabis, Hemp, or Food & Beverage company.Experience working with smoke shops, gas or convenience stores, with a strong understanding of retail marketing strategies.Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.Proven success in driving growth in CBD / Hemp companies through strategic marketing initiatives.This position will also require travel, and you should have regular access to a reliable vehicle / be close to a major airport, especially if you live outside of the Raleigh / Durham, North Carolina, area.Compensation:
