This position is in Huntsville, AL. Hybrid or remote work is not available for this opportunity.The successful candidate will:Produce high-quality Contract Management related products supporting the NGSP Launch and Missile Defense Systems Division.Supervise and manage approximately six (6) contract administration/staff personnel.Provide objective-oriented direction utilizing management guidelines & general policies.Deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines.Work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Making timely decisions and working collaboratively with various organizations for seamless contract administration.Building strong customer relationships and engaging with employees.Reviewing and responding to large dollar/complex RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.Preparing bids/proposals and administering contracts in accordance with company policies.Planning and executing successful contract negotiations.Managing the BU Contracts Team’s audit actions/responses.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 10+ years relevant experience in contract administration/management or related field -OR- Master’s degree with 8+ years relevant experience.Experience negotiating and administering various contract types with the DoD.Current, active US government security clearance at the Secret level.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree.15 years' experience in government contracting.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Salary Range:
