DescriptionJob Type: Full-timePuyallup, WAReports to: Service ManagerSalary: $18.00/hr - $21.00/hrThe Ideal Candidate:Larson Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Express Advisor to join our team and support our service department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail and pride yourself on productivity. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling service appointments, obtaining customer and vehicle data, and providing accurate cost estimates for repairs. You will also advise customers on the care and maintenance of their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications. This is not just a job, but a steppingstone into a greater career with an amazing family-owned business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Schedule service appointments for customers, obtaining customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.Write up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair orders.Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional needed services.Advise customers on the care of their vehicles and the value of maintaining them in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Provide complete and accurate cost estimates using the Service Price Guide for labor and parts, ensuring no handwritten estimates are given.Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explaining cost and time requirements in detail, and obtaining proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.Review repair orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.RequirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processesFamiliarity with Service Price Guides and estimating repair costsCommitment to providing exceptional customer serviceTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
