Insurance Defense Attorney

A law firm in Wayne, PA, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with 2 to 7 years of practice to join their team. The selected candidate will be responsible for representing clients in insurance defense litigation and providing comprehensive legal counsel. This position comes with a competitive benefits package, including a 401(k) retirement plan, contributions to health and dental plans, subsidized gym membership, and disability coverage.Duties:Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Engage in all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys to develop effective case strategies.Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice.Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.Manage case files efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.Mentor and guide junior attorneys and paralegals as required.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.2 to 7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.Thorough understanding of federal and state court procedures and rules.Strong litigation, negotiation, and trial skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation software.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle a high caseload and meet deadlines.Client-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality legal representation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
