Smithbucklin is seeking an experienced Talent Development Senior Manager to manage company-wide learning and development projects and programs. This position reports to the Talent Development Director and will collaborate within HR and across units. This role will be based in either our Chicago or DC office with the expectation of three days a week in office.Key Responsibilities

Lead and support key learning and development initiatives.Contribute to the development and leadership of company-wide talent development strategies.Manage talent development programs and initiatives including onboarding, performance management, and learning programs.Create a framework for career maps and design promotion paths for key roles.Become the company expert on the MPP III psychometric assessment tool.Participate in strategic initiatives that support Smithbucklin’s multi-year goals.Design and deliver training and facilitate sessions to both small and large audiences.Serve as a member of the HR Management Team.Create and manage the talent development budget.Mentor, coach, and develop direct report(s).Oversee and facilitate our people manager effectiveness program.Lead manager basics and coaching series.Develop and manage skill-focused learning courses.Create and lead leadership development programs.Collaborate with employee-led groups to drive engagement.Participate in other Talent Development projects as needed.This Role Might Be for You If You…

BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.10+ years of progressive experience in learning and development and/or HR.Experience facilitating various types of learning courses.Expert in leading onboarding initiatives and leadership development programs.Knowledge in creating and managing talent development budgets.Work Environment

Our hybrid environment offers you the option to work from home two days per week.
