Senior Manager of AI Product Development . The

Staff Data Scientist role

will closely work with cross-functional product teams and be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying external customer-focused AI/data science solutions to extract valuable insights from large and complex medical datasets.WHAT YOU’LL DOConduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends.Design, develop, and optimize predictive models using machine learning.Monitor and track model performance and iterate on models for continuous improvement.Perform rigorous testing and validation of models.Build and maintain machine learning pipelines.Create and maintain technical specifications and relevant documentation.Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex machine learning concepts into technical solutions.Collaborate with external partners and healthcare providers.Stay current with advancements in machine learning research.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGRequired:Master’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.4-6 years of experience in a relevant industrial or academic setting.Experience in the Life Science Industry.Proven expertise in data science methodologies and statistical techniques.Strong knowledge of core machine learning concepts and algorithms.Hands-on experience in large-set data analysis and model evaluation.Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, C#, and SQL.Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch, or Tensorflow.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred:Previous experience in healthcare technology.Experience working in Cloud Computing environments.Experience with healthcare data, including Electronic Health Records (EHR).Experience with data visualization tools.Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations.WHAT WE OFFERAt Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
