Key job responsibilitiesAs an Applied Scientist in the Amazon Profiles team in Personalization, your work delivers transformational, AI-powered end-to-end experiences to seek to understand each customer uniquely and deeply. You will use the latest ML and generative AI-powered methods to power new personalized experiences. Amazon Profiles represents a highly-visible charter, with exposure and sponsorship at the S-Team level. We leverage our understanding of each customer to personalize the moments that matter along the Shopping journey, while making it easy for customers to tell us when we get it wrong. We leverage generative AI to use this deep customer insight to help our customers more confidently navigate their shopping journey. We partner closely with teams across Amazon to deliver a unified and cohesive experiences. Come join us as we transform Amazon into a deeply personal and relevant store!
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of building models for business application experience- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language- Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using Unix/Linux- Experience in professional software development
