This position will be located in Mesa, AZ.The successful applicant will support the Mesa Guns Operating Unit. Candidate must be a self-starter and able to work collaboratively with a small team of contracts administrators. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) is required, along with experience managing contracts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Essential Functions:Provide leadership, support, professional development, and training in all aspects of contract operations.Build and lead a team of contract professionals, including training, mentoring, and ensuring compliance and timely completion of work assignments.Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Contract Management System (CMS) and Cost Point.Utilize strong computer skills for data tracking, reporting, and analysis.Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.Compile and analyze data, maintain historical information, and engage in strategic priorities.Supervise and develop Contract Order Administrator employees, including hiring, training, and workload assignment.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 10 years of professional Contract Administration Operations experience, 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or a Master's degree with 6 years relevant experience.Thorough understanding of applicable government regulations.Strong proposal development, negotiation, and excellent communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated people leadership and supervisory/management experience.Ability to effectively communicate with and influence others.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Independent decision-making capability while ensuring high collaboration levels.Knowledge of Contract Management System (CMS) and Cost Point (CP).Salary Range:
