Job Title:

Administrator I/II Contracts

Position Summary:

Administer and monitor contract performance on government contracts in coordination with the Contracts Lead. May assist with the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company, customers, subcontractors, and/or vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Primary and Essential Accountabilities

Work with Contract Lead to administer and monitor contract performance on government contracts.

Provide support for the negotiation and administration of agreements.

Responsible for reviewing standard contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, and interpreting agreement terms and conditions.

Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy and government specifications.

Respond to standard inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.

Assist/support fulfillment of contract deliverables, billings, and cash collections.

Assist in proposal preparation for customer requirements.

Prepare standard price proposals.

Participate in TINA implementation/sweeps under Contract Lead direction.

Monitor contract performance and cost controls and ensure compliance with contract terms.

Assist in preparing routine teaming agreements, MOUs, MOAs, and other contractual agreements.

Under direction, prepare contractual documents and assemble contract documentation package.

Participate in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviews.

Communicate and reinforce the mission and values of the organization.

Basic Qualifications

Associate's degree in related discipline with 7+ years of applicable work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).

Basic understanding of contract/purchase order terms and conditions.

Knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types.

Knowledge of government intellectual property (IP)/ software and data rights clauses.

Knowledge of source selection/evaluation process including cost and price analysis.

Knowledge of requirements for administration of government property.

Knowledge of government contract administration duties.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Basic understanding of contract/agreement briefings, negotiation, and review.

Membership in National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and CPCM certification desired.

Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge

Maintain effective internal and external customer relations.

May assist in the preparation of the export license applications.

May assist with subcontract negotiation and management.

Perform special projects as requested.

Physical Requirements

Lifting (up to 20 lbs.): up to 25% of time.

Walking: up to 25% of time.

Climbing, Bending, Standing, Stooping: up to 10% of time.

Sitting: up to 75% of time.

Travel: up to 10% of time.

The current schedule for this position is:

9/80 work schedule, every other Friday off.
