We are currently seeking 2 nurses, one full time Wound/Ostomy/Continence Nurse (WOCN) focused on pressure injury prevention, and another 36 hour a week WOCN.

This role offers an opportunity for an expert RN to demonstrate their skill in an autonomous work environment where support is available and offered whenever requested. This full time flex role will work 72 hours each pay period, will require the successful candidate to work Monday through Friday 8-4:30 - 4 days one week and 5 days the other week of the pay period; weekends are not generally required though may be a necessity occasionally based upon business need; no holidays on call or overnight work.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:Serves as a consultant in the management of patients with wounds, fistulas, ostomies and/or incontinence issues with a focus on pressure injury prevention and management/treatment.Facilitates the learning process for patients/families with wounds ostomies and/or incontinence by influencing changes in behavior, knowledge, attitudes and/or acquisition of psychomotor skills.Demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to deliver care appropriate to infant, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.Provides informative programs to staff for the purpose of developing skills, and knowledge related to patients/families with wounds, ostomies, fistulas, and/or incontinence, with a focus on pressure injury prevention and management/treatment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
We seek a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN required and MSN preferred. You will possess 3-5 years of acute care nursing experience, leadership is preferred.
