The primary responsibility of the Equipment Maintenance and Wash Technician will be to assist in the maintenance repair and cleanliness of all equipment.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Promote a safe working culture for all employees; work with safety and field personnel to minimize risk and increase safety for employees at all times.Spend 50% of time finding equipment malfunctions, or problems with use of operation daily/weeklySpend 50% of time washing down equipment daily/weeklyOil, grease, check fluid levels, and address pre / post trip inspectionsReport any identified repairs to managerMaintain and apply knowledge of current safety policiesWorks in cooperation with all departmentsAdditional Administrative Duties as AssignedQualifications

Education/Experience
High School diploma or equivalentPrevious related experience in trucking or a construction field is preferred Work RequirementsSafely operate various types equipment related to work requirements as neededStrictly adhere to safety requirements, policies, and procedures as outlined in the employee policy manualMust be willing to travel to each jobsite using reliable transportationReport to work at the designated start time. Reliable attendance is essential.Work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors/managers with other duties as required.Available to work whenever necessary to accomplish Company goals. Knowledge/Skill RequirementsTrucking Industry, Ready Mix Production, and Construction Industry knowledgePhysical Requirements

Climb: ascend/descend stairs and ladders.Lift: exertion of physical strength to move objects (20-40 lbs.) from one level to another.Carry: hold or rest weighted objects (20-40 lbs.) directly on hands, arms, shoulders, or back while walking from one location to another.Bend: flexion of the upper trunk forward while standing and knees extended or knees flexed when sitting.Push/Pull: Exertion of force on or against object (20 lbs.) to move it from one location to another.Reach: extend the hands and arms in any direction.Kneel: maintain the body in an erect posture while resting body weight on one or both knees.Stoop: flexion of the upper body forward at the waist with partial flexion of the knee while standing.Work Environment
Noise: sufficient noise, either constant or intermittent, to cause marked distraction or possible injury to sense of hearing.Dust: airborne particles of any kind such as dust.Hazards: various office equipment and furnitureProtection: required to wear hard hat, safety glasses (prescription or non-prescription) with side shields, safety vest, gloves, steel-toed safety shoes, hearing protection.
