This role will lead the pre-sales and strategy efforts, working directly with customers for architecture, and with the internal team for delivery. They will be at the forefront in establishing cloud infrastructure architectural best practices and frameworks for this team moving forward.This role will balance pre-sales activities, architecture, and delivery. The ideal candidate will be experienced in all three areas in a consulting capacity.
What You'll Do:
Team oversight: Overseeing team members' training, retention, hiring, and ensuring a high standard of project delivery and quality to our customers.Resource Alignment: Being the expert of your team's capacity and skills to properly align them to engagements/business to forecast demand accurately.Guidance and Growth: Mentor and coach team members for their ongoing career development and provide guidance/supervision from both a practice and consultative perspective.Cultivate Excellence: Foster a culture of high performance and excellence. Engage and motivate employees, facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing across practices.Thought Leadership: Demonstrate competency to the team through internal and external thought leadership. This may include authoring SME-focused collateral (Whitepapers), blogging, speaking at conferences, etc.Sales Support: Educate and support the Atmosera sales team in driving revenue by supporting strategic sales opportunities.Client Relationships: Develop relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor during their Azure transformation.Solution Development & Architectural Best Practices: Lead packaging of solution offerings across practices and enable sales teams.Product Development: Lead ideation and development of internal and external IP in support of business initiatives. Develop IP Solutions that drive cross-practice and cross-business line opportunities.Required Experience:
8+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture design and development, and/or system integration/development.2+ years in a technology management role.3+ years involvement in technology pre-sales.Understanding of the cloud ecosystem and leading-edge cloud infrastructure emerging technologies.Microsoft Azure experience required.Experience scoping and designing projects within Microsoft Azure infrastructure and topologies (Operations Management Suite, Application Insights, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Security Center, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Automation).Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a project team.Passion for client experience and for professional services as a vehicle to help clients achieve their goals.Entrepreneurial spirit, and desire to look for opportunities to continually improve.Demonstrated leadership of a technology practice area in a professional services organization.Demonstrated leadership of a product development team, with consistent performance in hitting goals related to ship dates, feature delivery, and product quality.Ability to operate effectively as part of a matrixed team and drive results from members of the organization who may not be part of a direct reporting relationship.Ability to provide constructive feedback to consulting team members.Ability to address conflict. Able to prepare for and execute on difficult conversations.
