The ideal candidate will leverage their business development experience within the federal government or contracting space to secure and manage technical research projects. Additionally, the role will involve contributing to technical work through task decomposition and solution architecting.Key Responsibilities:Lead the identification and capture of new R&D programs, focusing on technical vulnerability research, cybersecurity, and advanced technology.Develop and nurture a pipeline of potential customers, promoting Two Six Technologies' capabilities in technical vulnerability research and related areas.Drive proposal generation and delivery, ensuring alignment with customer needs and strategic objectives.Cultivate strong relationships with federal government stakeholders and partners, leveraging existing connections to expand business opportunities.Oversee line management of team members, providing leadership and mentorship, and recruit new talent to support growth in the technical vulnerability research domain.Decompose complex research tasks into manageable components and assign responsibilities to team members.Architect solutions to research problems, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with project goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into product development.Minimum Qualifications:Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility/willingness to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related technical domain (solid knowledge in RE or VR may substitute for a specific degree).At least 5 years of business development and program capture experience within the federal government or contracting space.Experience in task decomposition and solution architecting within a research or technical environment.Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring engineering and research teams.Preferred Qualifications:Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.Demonstrated success in capturing Government R&D contracts/programs or performing as a Principal Investigator on advanced technology R&D projects for Government clients.Extensive experience and knowledge in cybersecurity, including reverse engineering, vulnerability research, exploit development, and CNO tool development.Experience in firmware development using low-level programming languages (C and at least one assembly language), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and the *nix command line.Strong familiarity with cybersecurity principles and a strong interest in guiding program staff.Experience with common disassemblers/decompilers and reverse engineering tools (IDA, Ghidra, Binary Ninja).Experience with software reverse engineering concepts: static analysis, dynamic analysis, fuzzing techniques.Clearance Requirements:Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility/willingness to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
