Job Description:Perform daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions related to US GAAP rules such as: BS and P&L accounting and flux analysis, month-end close process and reporting, general accounting.
Responsibilities:Record monthly journal entries (i.e., cash, intercompany, allocations), reconciliations and other close activities (i.e., trial balance review, consolidations and remeasurement).Conduct flux analysis and present month-end/quarter-end results to management.Identify improvement opportunities and work to centralize, streamline, or automate activities.Assist with other ad-hoc projects as needed.
Experience:Required: CPA/CA and/or Master’s degree, Accounting/month-end close background (including journal entries, Blackline reconciliations, financial analyses), SAP experience, Financial reporting and working knowledge of US GAAP. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills:Preferred: Intercompany and cash accounting experience.Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and deliver on commitments.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills with the ability to work with teams cross-functionally.Experience in public accounting and/or other large public company.
Education:CPA/CA and/or Master’s degree in relevant field.
