The attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload from inception through resolution, conducting discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, attending court appearances, and negotiating settlements.Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and civil litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and general liability cases.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.Negotiate settlements and explore alternative dispute resolution methods where appropriate.Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and advising on legal strategies.Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Florida State Bar.3-5 years of experience in insurance defense and civil litigation.Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures.
