Senior Finance Analyst, International Emerging Stores Payments Finance
Job ID: 2658059 | Amazon Australia Company Pty Ltd - P36 Amazon seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to play a key business partner role on the International Emerging Stores Payments (IESP) Finance team, primarily supporting Amazon's Australia Payment business, including Cobranded Credit Card, Installments, Buy Now Pay Later, Gift Cards, Shop with Points, Cost of Payment, and other local payment products. The person will be part of a team responsible for long and short term financial planning, controllership of monthly financial reporting, developing and reporting on weekly financial and operational performance metrics, and providing analytical support for senior leadership.
This position will be a key risk/controllership gateway for the Payments business and requires a candidate with strong communication and leadership skills. A portion of the time will be spent on ad hoc analysis to support the growing business needs. The Finance team works closely with the business teams, so any candidate should be able to work well with cross functional teams.
The ideal candidate must have superior attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical skills is also required. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Six Sigma Black Belt - Credit Card/ Payments industry experience is good to have Acknowledgement of Country
