Position Purpose

Responsible for overseeing the administration and development of Branch offices. Implements appropriate policies, procedures, and training to ensure efficient and effective Branch operations. Supervises Branch budgets and business performance and promotes optimal and cost-effective operations. Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served. Assists with the development and implementation of Branch marketing programs. Oversees provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members. Directs and appraises Branch Managers.

Essential Job Functions

Assumes responsibility for the development and implementation of effective Branch planning.

Assists management with long-term and short-term Branch planning.

Ensures that Credit Union goals are achieved.

Helps develop and implement operational plans, policies, procedures, and goals that further strategic objectives.

Meets regularly with Branch Managers to evaluate and redefine goals for effective Branch operations.

Ensures the effective performance of all Branch offices.

Ensures that Branch auditing procedures are effectively conducted and that deficiencies are corrected. Directs and monitors branch operations, through managers, to ensure they meet organizational goals and objectives. Monitors product delivery quality and takes action to resolve problems.

Ensures that Branch operations are completed in accordance with established Credit Union procedures and applicable laws and regulations.

Monitors Branch budgets and business performance. Manages and oversees expenses. Pursues cost-saving measures.

Effectively oversees Branch Managers and Branch employees, ensuring optimal performance.

Provides leadership to Branch Managers and employees through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts staff meetings on a regular basis.

Ensures that Branch Managers and employees are well trained, effective, and optimally utilized. Instructs employees regarding policy, procedure, and program changes.

Assumes responsibility for ensuring that professional business relations are established and maintained with members, the community, and professional contacts.

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required Education:

A college degree (Associates or higher).

Required Knowledge:

Thorough knowledge of Credit Union services and products.

Thorough knowledge of all Branch operations and functions.

Thorough knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience:

5-10 years of similar or related experience.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Strong sales skills.

Strong analytical abilities.

Strong organization and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Annual base salary of $90-100K dependent on experience.
