Based on assigned project, the Senior Consultant may work independently or collaboratively with a team to identify and implement global strategies and execute learning solutions. Our projects tend to be complex requiring high-profile learning and organization development solutions to drive faster adoption and greater utilization of new processes, systems and organizational structures. This includes defining learning and organizational development objectives, designing, developing, and delivering learning solutions that will enable programs to reach and exceed their goals along with result analysis and reporting.Major duties include:Able to foster relationships and lead discussions with senior management, learning consultants and/or subject matter experts to translate business requirements into learning and organization development strategiesCreates / maintains relevant project management documentation relating to complex and high-profile learning and organization development initiativesDesigns (and/or oversees the design of) instructionally sound deliverables using adult learning theories with learning activities which engage and reinforce the learning objectivesDevelops and implements (and/or oversees the development/implementation of) learning deliverables that support business goalsAnalyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of the deliverables and make recommendations for improvementsOptimize Northern Trust’s use of digital learning technologies to meet business needs, including tools, platforms, and communication channelsRequired Qualifications:A College or University degree or relevant work in training areaEight to ten years of experience in Learning and DevelopmentSound relationship building skills including consulting, rapport building and trustExcellent oral, written, and presentation skillsAbility to synthesize technical information with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsTechnical skills including (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Forms) as well as SharePoint development and site ownershipExpertise in digital learning technologies (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, etc.) preferredMastery in instructional design concepts of design, development, facilitation, and evaluationExperience in project management as it relates to leading a training effortUnderstanding of change management concepts and practices preferredProsci Change Management or Prosci Train-the-Trainer Certification, a plusFinancial Services industry experience, a plusWhat Makes This Job Amazing:You’ll join a global team with a flexible, hybrid working environmentYou’ll have continual opportunities for developmentWe are committed to providing a meaningful and equitable partner experience with a diverse and inclusive culture that supports balance and total wellbeingNote:
