Ground Systems Integration Engineer III - Fluid Systems

Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will directly support Blue Origin's success through skilled management of the development and administration of appropriate standards and tools for systems engineering disciplines including systems architecture, systems integration, trade studies, requirements development and decomposition, verification approaches, configuration management, gated reviews, systems safety, and technical performance metric management.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead integrated functional teams to define, document, and execute integration and test activities for fluid subsystems (to include component level testing through final system acceptance and validation)Manage requirements development, decomposition, trade studies, and requirement verification/validationDevelop strategies and approaches for specialty engineering (operability, reliability, maintainability, supportability) integration, analysis and verificationServe as primary subsystem engineering/technical POC for all systems engineering artifacts to include requirements specifications, ICDs, test plans, test procedures, and test reportsCoordinate transition of completed systems to operations/sustainmentRepresent the Systems Engineering team in technical reviews and failure investigationsDefine integrated test parameters, provide test execution support, and anomaly resolutionMinimum QualificationsB.S. degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering5+ years experience in Systems Engineering, Integration & Test, or development of fluid systemsExperience with Cryogenic, Pneumatic, and/or Hydraulic systemsIn-depth knowledge of systems engineering practices (e.g., requirements development; standard verification methods; functional decomposition; standard diagramming techniques; risk and opportunity managementAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred QualificationsM.S. degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Aerospace EngineeringExperience with requirements development/management tools such as DOORS, DOORS Next GenHands-on experience in developing, authoring, and executing integrated tests and/or operating complex systemsExperience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools such as WindchillExperience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRAAbility to work with partially defined requirements and changing criteriaExperience and ability to work independently on rapid development programsExperience with launch vehicle or ground cryogenic and pressure systems and/or complex mechanisms including Umbilical Release Mechanisms.Demonstrated successful experience writing technical procedures, non-conformance documentation, and specifications.Successful experience leading and managing teams integrating multiple subsystems to meet a top-level system requirement.Strong safety record and attitude, including hands-on experience planning and conducting hazardous or critical tests and operations.Knowledge of fluids system operation and maintenance processesApplications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.Inclusivity StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
