About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager for Customer Obsession, you will lead Generative AI experiences for our customers looking for Uber's support (Riders, Eaters, Drivers, Couriers, Merchants, etc.). Your primary mission will be to leverage best-in-class AI/LLMs to help customers self-service their issues while ensuring high customer engagement with a magical experience. You will use best-of-breed technologies and innovative design thinking to deliver solutions at a scale that has never been done before in the industry. Furthermore, you will lead several key initiatives, such as annual planning & business reviews, collaborating closely with senior leaders throughout the company.

What the Candidate Will Do

Lead product strategy and development of the customer-generative AI assistant.

Collaborate with the design team and guide their investments for research, prototyping, experimentation, and overall design thinking.

Collaborate with the machine learning team and guide their investments in LLM and Conversational AI space.

Collaborate with various Uber product teams to integrate customer information and infographics to enable accurate and crafted resolutions.

Supervise and measure launched products and feed insights back into product development process to drive growth.

High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products or platforms (prior product management experience is a must).

Computer Science degree or similar.

Experience building customer-generative AI assistant technology - must have a strong technical background in the AI/ML space and confident discussing technical topics in depth with all stakeholders.

Experience building Mobile UI/UX for large-scale consumer applications, understanding customer mobile behavior and patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

Data-driven decision-making ability and a "driver" personality - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for great collaboration.

Design thinking and customer-centric approach to building, experimenting, and iterating products.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$174,000 per year - USD$193,500 per year.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$174,000 per year - USD$193,500 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of compensation. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link
