Q Bio is building technology for the Physical of the Future that measures more, faster and cheaper about the human body, to enable proactive primary care for all. We're revolutionizing primary care with the first clinical digital twin platform, powered by breakthrough whole-body scanning technology, that highlights the most important changes in a person’s physiology for sharing with physicians and specialists anywhere in the world.As Senior Software Engineer on User Apps, you will be responsible for building our next generation consumer facing web applications, and take charge of improving the design system, component library and all frontend-related tooling. You’ll be working directly with our scanner and Digital Twin platform, producing APIs and services that visualize 3D human body and biomarkers from the genome and biological systems data to enhance patient and developer experiences.QualificationsDegree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing full-stack commercial web applicationsDetail-oriented and good craftsmanship. Understands usability and accessibility principles. Can translate design into functional, user-friendly and high performing interfacesProficient in Python and/or other OOP languages, and RESTful API frameworks such as Flask/DjangoFamiliar with cloud-native applications, microservices, event sourcing, relational and non-relational databases (mysql, redis, etc.)Familiar with building and deploying applications on cloud services like AWS, Azure, GCPExcellent communication and teamwork skillsThrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter expertsNice to HavePrior experience in building complex, data-intensive web applications, using modern web frontend and backend technologiesExperience with data visualization libraries such as D3, three.jsExperience with design systems, building UI component librariesQ Bio is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we value diversity at our company.
