We strive to inspire and grow our company, our partnerships, our science, and our people, because when we do, we deliver more for patients.The Vice President of US Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation, US is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational activities of the Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation Community. Ensures that medical and evidence generation strategies align with the company's objectives, driving scientific excellence and supporting the successful development, launch, and commercialization of biotechnology products.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement medical strategies that support the overall business objectivesCollaborate with Global Medical Affairs and leadership to integrate medical insights into strategic planningCollaborate to identify data gaps, design of research projects, and leverage available data and communicate that information to key decision makersDrive innovation in medical affairs to enhance patient outcomes and product success for our vision for argenx 2030Provide US medical perspective and insights to the broader organization.Design and ensure a strong US KOL relationship strategy and execute on sameRepresent the company at medical conferences, symposia, and meetings with key opinion leaders (KOLs)Ensure effective communication of scientific data to internal and external stakeholdersEnsure all medical affairs activities comply with regulatory requirements and ethical standardsOversee interactions with US regulatory agencies regarding medical and scientific issuesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standardsWork closely with R&D, commercial, regulatory, and other departments and cross functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of medical strategies for the USSupport the marketing team with medical insights and data to inform marketing strategies and campaignsCollaborate with market access and health economics and outcomes research teams to support reimbursement strategiesLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing US Medical Affairs CommunityFoster a culture of scientific excellence, innovation, and continuous improvementManage departmental budgets and resources effectivelyQualifications:Medical degree (MD, DO) or equivalent; additional advanced degrees (e.g., PhD, MBA) preferredExtensive experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industryProven track record of leadership and strategic planning in a medical or clinical settingStrong understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical research, and pharmaceutical developmentExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional team environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCompetencies:Strategic VisionLeadership and Team ManagementScientific and Clinical ExpertiseRegulatory and Compliance AcumenEffective Communication and Presentation SkillsCross-Functional CollaborationInnovation and Continuous ImprovementAt argenx, all applicants are welcomed in an inclusive environment.
