This is the role for you if you consider yourself a technologist at heart and with:Experience with Network Operating Systems and in System and Software QualificationDiligent with an automation first approach and experience with scripting languages and test frameworksPassionate about open-source development and contributionWhat You’ll Do:As a Tech Lead for AI/ML Test Engineering, you'll lead an agile team engaged in the design, development and execution of tests to qualify network performance for AI/ML capability. In this role you’ll have opportunity to:Build out testing environment for system/solution validationDevelop and enhance test framework and benchmarking toolsDefine and gather data for network performance benchmarkingUnderstand and troubleshoot customer issuesBasic Qualifications:Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering + 8 years of experience building network and test automation, or Masters + 6 years of related experience, or PhD + 3 years of related experience3+ years' experience configuring, debugging networking systems and solutions3+ years’ experience using scripting languages including PythonPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with test frameworks, and traffic generators (commercial & open-source)Exposure to network operating systems, preferably SONiCKnowledge of control & data plane technologies including L2, L3, VXLAN, segment Routing and/or MPLSExposure to RDMA, HPC networksKnowledge of RoCE and Infini band protocolsHands on experience with GIT, Jira, Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline toolsWhy Cisco?#WeAreCisco.
