We foster a thriving internal community and are committed to creating a workplace that looks like the world that we serve.Pay and Benefits:Competitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentive.Comprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on location.Pension / Retirement benefits.Paid Time Off and Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).The impact you will have in this role:Being a member of the General Counsel's Office, located in the DTCC Jersey City office, this role will have responsibility for providing legal advice and guidance to our clearing agency businesses and providing legal support to DTCC on contracts and transactional matters.Your Primary Responsibilities:Operate as U.S. counsel to senior management in DTCC’s clearing agency businesses.Provide accurate, timely legal and regulatory advice in the development and structuring of new business initiatives, including new products and service offerings.Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, contract processes and policies and procedures.Support audit and examinations relating to DTCC’s ITP business and related communications with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).Collaborate with members of the DTCC legal department and external counsel, Compliance, Sales, Product, Finance and other functional areas as needed to support all of the above.Handle other corporate legal matters as requested.Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting errors and demonstrating ethical behavior.NOTE:
