We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Pricing Director to lead our pricing strategy and operations. This person will play the critical role in defining and executing pricing strategies that maximize revenue, profitability, and market share while ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives and customer value proposition.As we execute toward $200 million in revenue, your leadership in creating Assent’s pricing solution will accelerate our growth. This role requires a strong focus on customers, market dynamics and product/solution needs with creative design of comprehensive pricing strategies. Collaborating across teams, planning pricing implementation enablement while driving revenue optimization are all part of this role. These results will directly contribute to our growth, as the leading supply chain sustainability market leader facilitating a world where complex products are safe, sustainable, and compliant.This role encompasses full responsibility for both the strategic direction and hands-on execution of the below. This role does not assume responsibility for leadership of a team, at this time.Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies:Design and implement comprehensive pricing strategies that align with our business goals and market conditions.Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to optimize pricing models.Ensure pricing strategies support customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with product, sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to integrate pricing strategies across all business functions.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure pricing decisions are well-informed and data-driven.Pricing Analysis and Optimization:Conduct detailed pricing analyses to identify opportunities for pricing improvements and adjustments.Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing strategies and tactics, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.Customer and Market Insights:Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.Leverage insights to influence product development, go-to-market strategies, and value proposition.Revenue and Profitability Goals:Drive pricing initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability targets.Implement and oversee discounting policies, pricing adjustments, and promotional activities.Qualifications

We strongly value your talent, energy and passion. It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or a related role within the SaaS industry.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies in a B2B enterprise environment with extensive experience in private equity backed organizations.Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in pricing tools and software.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on results.Deep understanding of supply chain sustainability and regulatory compliance is a plus.Additional Information
