Private Equity Associate

Selby Jennings has been engaged by an energy-focused private equity firm with over $4B in assets to hire an Associate for near-term hire. This group, founded over a decade ago by highly successful industry executives and proven investors, focuses on control equity investments in midstream and energy infrastructure businesses with a buy-and-build strategy. This individual will have full life cycle responsibility across investment and portfolio management in a long-term position with partnership track.Qualified candidates will have either:1-3 years' investment banking and/or buyside experience with an energy, industrials or related focus and significant M&A exposure2-4 years' corporate development and strategy experience within a midstream or energy related operating company with proven experience supporting the c-suite in buy or sell-side transactions
