Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Operations to oversee our company's operations and ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Commercial Painting and Coatings, along with proven leadership and executive level experience.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to improve operations and drive business growth.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including production, supply chain, logistics, and customer service.Manage and optimize company resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Lead and motivate a team of operations managers and staff to achieve goals and objectives.Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to ensure smooth operations and profitability.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations and stay ahead of competitors.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. OR Equivalent experience.Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role.Prior experience in Commercial Painting and Coatings is highly preferred.Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing operations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team towards achieving goals and objectives.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.Benefits
