Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessmentsObtain and verify patient consent for proceduresDiscuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patientsAdminister and manage anesthesia during induction, maintenance, and emergence phasesMonitor patient physiological conditions throughout proceduresPerform clinical interventions as neededCase mix includes EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, and EUS procedures. Additional types of cases are available at sister locations.Job Requirements
Current license as a registered professional nurseGraduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education programCertification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse AnesthetistsProfessional Experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Strong communication and patient care skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWe apologize, but these positions are not open to recent graduates.About Chicago
