The State Bar's mission is to protect the public and includes the primary functions of licensing, regulation, and discipline of attorneys; the advancement of the ethical and competent practice of law; and support of efforts for greater access to, and inclusion in, the legal system.The ORS seeks a Senior Program Analyst/Lead Program Analyst that will contribute to projects that support the State Bar's mission to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a data collection, reporting, and evaluation framework for the State Bar's Office of Access & Inclusion (OA&I) legal aid grantmaking work. The candidate will also provide technical and research expertise in support of OA&I's various initiatives.Responsibilities:Develop and execute a data collection and evaluation framework.Provide technical and research expertise for OA&I initiatives.Translate complex research topics and findings to a general audience.Collaborate effectively across functions.Minimum Requirements:Senior Program Analyst

Education:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties of the position.Experience:Two (2) years of experience in data collection and evaluation, research, performance or financial analysis, or grant compliance in a public sector, legal, or nonprofit environment.Lead Program Analyst

Education:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties of the position.Experience:Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience, including at least two (2) years at the advanced journey level, in research, data collection and evaluation, performance or financial auditing, or business process re-engineering, in a public sector, legal, or nonprofit environment.Juris Doctorate or master’s degree in a relevant field may substitute for up to two (2) years of experience.
