Veeva is looking for a passionate Release Engineer to work at our Toronto location. You’ll work on the Release Engineering team, which utilizes modern technologies and best practices to deliver seamless releases to all our Vault customers.Vault is a proven, cloud-based development platform to manage documents and related data while automating tasks and processes across the organization. Vault applications are purpose-built using the platform to provide a single source of truth with complete visibility and increased compliance on a single cloud platform.What You'll DoWork closely with Vault Engineering and Technical Operations to support the existing release and change management processExecute and manage deployment activities for each sprintManage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and qualityCollaborate with key Development and Quality Assurance stakeholders in developing and executing a robust test and release processFacilitate resolution of deployment problems with Development, Quality Assurance, and Technical OperationsProactively identify, recommend, and implement software release process improvements to maximize efficiencyRequirementsFamiliarity with LinuxExperience with AWSExperience in release engineering for an organization with large and complex applicationsEstablishes and maintains good working relationships with other Engineering and Technical Operations teamsFlexibility and adaptability towards changes in assignments and work schedulesPride in work through attention to detailWorks under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for initiative and independent judgmentNice to HaveFull-Time experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Software AutomationProficient with CI tools such as JenkinsExperience with source code version control systems such as GitSolid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologiesComputer Science or related bachelor’s degreePerks & BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and basic life insuranceFlexible PTO and company paid holidaysRetirement programs1% charitable giving programCompensationBase pay: $55,000 - $125,000The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
