The Loss Prevention Supervisor plays a critical role in inventory management and shortage reduction. Daily LP tasks at store are focused on safety, inventory management, and shortage reduction. Loss Prevention Supervisor will be reporting to Loss Prevention Manager and Store Manager, serving as an asset for protection and safety specialist of our stores.Key Responsibilities:Train store team members on loss prevention and safety policies, procedures, and standards: ensure compliance from all store team, notifying store management/Loss Prevention Manager of any violations.Ensure LP team can successfully identify, apprehend, and detain shoplifters by following company guidelines.Build productive relationships with store leadership team and associates.Lead associate awareness efforts and generate leads pertaining to internal investigations.Focus on the importance of proper inventory management. Investigate issues and educate team on proper procedures.Ensure compliance and understanding of the shortage reduction strategies.Work with Leadership to strengthen LP culture.Partner with LP Manager to ensure compliance with company policy and procedure.Inspect compliance with company safety policy and procedures through store visits and provide direction and training to ensure opportunities are identified and corrected.Identify safety or loss risks, immediately notifying store and loss prevention management to prevent accidents.Support loss prevention management with audits and inventory counts.Ensure full confidentiality at all times.Assist with special projects, as assigned.Qualifications:Strong knowledge of computer applications; including Security Software, CCTV equipment, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of federal, state, and local law.Knowledge of surveillance/security equipment and installations.Ability to travel to stores within assigned area.Must be able to work for extended periods of standing or walking the sales floor as required.Physical Requirements:Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull or move objects of at least 50lbs.Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.Schedule Requirements:Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including nights, evenings, and weekends.Full Time Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision coverage.401k plan - 100% match on the first 3% you contribute, 50% on the next 2% you contribute.Paid parental leave.Fertility benefits, including IVF.Life insurance.Short-term and long-term disability insurance.HSA/FSA options.Employee Assistance Program.15 days of paid vacation/personal leave and 9 days of sick leave per calendar year, pro-rated based on hire date.8 days of paid holidays and 1.5 times the employee’s regular rate for all hours worked on stated holidays.30% Employee Merchandise Discount.Commuter benefits.Bonus, if eligible; and profit sharing, if eligible.NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA JOB APPLICANTS AND EMPLOYEES:For information regarding how we handle your personal information and to exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, please see our Privacy Policy at Uniqlo.com.The Company is committed to equal pay initiatives and will not ask candidates for their current or past salary.
