Full TimeMobile Generation, the fastest-growing Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer in the Midwest, is currently looking for a Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The Assistant Store Manager will work directly with the Store Manager to ensure the sales team is well-versed in our selling process, Verizon Wireless products and services, and that our retail location is meeting operational standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in retail environments, preferably in the wireless industry, and is skilled in delivering an excellent customer experience that includes an effective sales process, providing product and service knowledge, and managing customer concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.Perks:Strong base pay based on previous experience in a similar role.Performance bonuses based on achieving key initiatives.Flexible Work Schedule.Employee Health Plan.401K Savings Plan.Personal Time Off.Great and fun working atmosphere.Significant opportunities for growth within the company.Win prizes and trips through various sales contests throughout the year.Responsibilities:Work side by side with the Store Manager to build a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment.Assist Store Manager as directed to hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.Meet or exceed both personal and team key performance indicators each month.Coach/mentor your team daily to provide an exceptional customer experience.Ensure the location operates under the specific guidelines of both Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.Assist the Store Manager in promotional roles, inventory procedures, or other duties as assigned.Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.Qualifications:1+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless businesses.Proof of achievement in prior sales roles is required.Ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members.Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service.Ability to travel to various locations across the Midwest as business needs dictate.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.About Mobile Generation:Mobile Generation is an authorized Verizon Wireless retailer, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
