Seeking a Business Analyst-UAT to join our consulting team. The Business Analyst-UAT will be responsible for playing a crucial role in the software development and implementation process and ensuring that the final product aligns with business needs and user expectations before it goes live. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions that will drive data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with diverse teams including business, operations, technology, data engineering, and management to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into detailed UAT plans and test cases.

Perform documentation and reporting for the purposes of system analysis, business requirement, testing, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as MSOffice and SQL.

Perform system analysis and software testing by leveraging SQL, JIRA, or other tools.

Present information and ideas in a way that is engaging and easy to understand across stakeholder groups.

Support UAT activities, working closely with end-users to ensure the testing environment is set up correctly and that all test cases are executed as planned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Engineering.

2+ years of experience in business analysis with a focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including developing test plans and leading UAT sessions.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into actionable test cases and scenarios.

Proficiency in SQL and JIRA, as well as other tools.

Skilled in reporting and development using Tableau, Power BI, or other database and reporting tools.

Experienced in system analysis and development using Salesforce.

Financial industry experience is a must.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a virtual team.

Ability to manage to strict deadlines as well as prioritize and perform tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Effective communication skills, written and verbal.

Strong in multitasking, completing sprint goals and managing changing priorities.

Ability to diagnose and solve problems efficiently and effectively.

This remote position requires the ability to work effectively from a home office, even in an environment with moderate background noise.
