Employment/Labor Associate Attorney

A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking an experienced Employment/Labor Associate Attorney to join their dynamic and sophisticated team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in becoming a key member of the firm and possess at least 3 years of relevant experience representing employers on various labor and employment matters.Duties:Representing employers on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including litigation (wage and hour, discrimination, non-compete cases) before courts and administrative agenciesProviding employment and HR-related counseling to clientsDrafting employment-related policies and agreementsConducting investigations and trainingHandling transactional and due diligence mattersAssisting with labor relations activities, including collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, and unfair labor practices (experience in this area is a plus)Taking significant responsibility for cases and projectsEngaging in one-on-one work with partners and having immediate client contactRequirements:At least 3 years of experience in labor and employment lawStrong interest in becoming a key member of a dynamic teamExperience representing employers on various labor and employment mattersAdmission to the Massachusetts Bar (or eligibility for admission)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or eligibility for admission)Skills:Litigation experience in labor and employment mattersProficiency in drafting employment-related policies and agreementsStrong research and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentKnowledge or experience in labor relations is a plus
