Human Resources (HR) at UEI is dedicated to recruiting, hiring, and training the organization’s employees and guiding management, staff, and customers in employee-related decisions. HR oversees benefits and compensation, manages the employee performance review process, and stays current with changing laws that affect UEI employees.RATE OF PAY:Full Range: $9,345 - $16,821 per month ($112,140 - $201,852 annual)Anticipated Hiring Range: $11,667 - $15,000 ($140,000 - $180,000 annual)BENEFITS:

This position is open until filled with a priority review date of September 19, 2024.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.Extensive work experience in Human Resources administration and system development.Extensive knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices.Experience in supervising and managing a Human Resources department.Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.Knowledge of budget development and maintenance.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Experience using computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.Must be fingerprinted and pass a background check.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sit for extended periods; frequently stand and walk; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in an office environment; continuous contact with staff, campus community, and the public.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Directs, manages, and supervises the Human Resources functions of UEI.Oversees the UEI employment process including recruitment and selection.Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures.Handles conflict and employee resolutions.Oversees employee benefits programs.Develops and controls the Human Resources Department budget.Supervises the development and implementation of UEI’s compensation plan.Directs the development and maintenance of the classification plan.Oversees the UEI employment program.Supervises the development and administration of UEI’s Learning and Development program.Responsible for the development and implementation of the Performance Management system.Directs the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office.Oversees the administration of UEI’s Federal Work Study program.Serves as a member of UEI’s Personnel Committee.Responds to various audits.Maintains an awareness of regulations affecting employment.Administers UEI’s Injury and Illness Prevention Program.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Note:
