ABOUT THE JOB:
This role is for developing the Cold & Frozen Beverage Category business group of products to optimize sales and profits in the assigned territories and channels in the North America. This role needs to develop new customers of the assigned typology and support the Category and Business Development Cold & Frozen Beverage in North America, providing inputs to the strategy and direction to the regional Sales Team to drive revenue growth, maximize margins and grow market share.
Responsibilities
ABOUT YOUR TASKS:Meet and exceed aligned volume, revenue and margin targets of the category in the assigned territories and customersBe one of the recognized Beverage category and product experts, both for internal and external customersPush product and category sales through sales team or direct interaction in the sales channel with initiatives like promotions and product demonstrations with particular focus on the assigned territories and the Regional Beverage Companies customer typologyDevelops and maintains a small number of assigned and targeted customer listCollaborate with other specialized Beverage resources as Product Managers and after sales managers to achieve resultsSearch for insights into operator/end user needs and wantsSupport the development of the sales strategies and initiatives along with the sales team to drive expansion and penetrationActively support product trainingSupport industry events, including national and regional tradeshows, conferences,Provide inputs for exit strategies implementation for unsuccessful products and phase-in/phase-out activities.Support strategic product positioning strategies to maximize its visibilityCollaborate with the marketing teamActive competitor analysis and information suggesting appropriate pricing and promotional activitiesWork with customers and merchandisers and find new ways of expanding product categoriesProvide inputs to calculate forecasts for product demand trendsOther duties as directedQualifications
ABOUT YOU:
Bachelor's Degree required3+ years business-to-business sales experience strongly preferred3+ years of Product Category Management or Business development experienceSKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1+ years Salesforce experience strongly preferredStrong computer literacy including Microsoft OfficeP&L understanding and financial acumen demonstratedStrong interpersonal skills focused on developing business relationshipsSolution oriented problem-solvingWORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate a computer keyboard and telephone. The employee frequently is required to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time (up to 10 hours). The employee may also be required to kneel, bend, and work dexterously with hands. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (22kg). Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
50%+ travel in North America. International travel (outside the Americas) may be required
