An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer (CAD/CAM) in the industrial / manufacturing industry, who can apply their knowledge and experience in the Engineering & Manufacturing department of a leading organisation.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client is a major player in the industrial / manufacturing industry with an employee base of over 5,000 professionals. They are committed to providing cutting-edge solutions and are known for their dedication to quality and innovation.\n\nDescription\n\n3D modelling of customer components and producing 2D drawings from the models, using Unigraphics.\nProducing both turning and milling programmes using Unigraphics.\nIn house development work including designing.\nProduce step by step routing of components through the Machine Shops to optimise production.\nTaking a methodical approach in identifying and monitoring risks on process changes.Profile\n\nStrong programming experience, for castings and forgings.\nGood knowledge of modern milling machine cutters and methods.\nCAD/CAM experience, ideally Siemens NX.\nAbility to create models and manufacturing drawings is essential.\nExperience using Unigraphics.\nExperience in offline Programming of CNC milling and turning machining is essential.\nExperience using programme verification software, such as Vericut.\nOur ideal candidate will also be an apprentice-trained machinist.Job Offer\n\n33 days annual leave (includes public holidays).\nEasily accessible location with free onsite parking.\nCycle to Work scheme.\nPension and Life Assurance Scheme.\nEmployee Assistance Programme.\nOn site Occupational Health provision providing Health Screening and advice on well-being.\nDiscounted Westfield Health Plan Scheme.\nOccupational Sick Pay Scheme.\nLong service award scheme.\nYou at Work - Access to online discounts portal.\nA bronze accredited participant in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, supporting ex-military and reservists in employment
