OverviewFounded in 2016, Tube Supply provides quality steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications, including drilling, completions, production, and downhole tools. Tube Supply clients are leading oil and gas service companies, OEMs, and manufacturing centers spanning as far as Canada and Mexico in addition to the United States.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Develop and execute business development plans that align with Tube Supply’s growth objectives
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that meet their requirements
Research and identify potential customers, market trends, and industry developments
Generate leads and create strategies to target new business opportunities
Organize and participate in customer entertainment activities. This may include events outside of business hours, including but not limited to dinners, networking events, and other collaborative activities.
Track and follow up with customer initiatives
Evaluate pricing feedback and investing opportunities
Manage the progress of multiple projects running concurrently and follow up with internal stakeholders regularly
Work closely with Supply Chain and Sales to ensure alignment on business development strategies and to support the execution of customer projects.
Support Sales Management in determining pricing, aged inventory, and inventory holds
QualificationsJob Requirements:
Exemplifies Tube Supply’s values of Excellence, Loyalty, and Fun
Minimum 8--10 years of experience in steel sales with at least 3 years of experience with Tube Supply’s product offerings
Bachelor’s degree required, graduate education a plus
Adhere to position travel requirements:
65% of time spent traveling
35% non-local
30% local (Houston only)
Ability to commit to hosting customer events, including those scheduled on weekends
Previous managerial experience
Strong understanding of end user applications
Organizational and planning skills
Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time
