Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Includes but not limited to the following:
Manage and coordinate timing of rail freight and logistics.Maintain and build upon current supply agreements and relationships with end users and railroads.Coordinate with merchandising team in accounting estimates and actual P&L.Develop and execute an annual grain marketing strategy based on market conditions.Set grain bids for farmers and elevators.Provide valuations for month-end financial statements.Find markets and obtain farmer participation for special grain production.Understand national/regional grain flows and maintain a network of industry contacts to exchange information.Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service.Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Must have a valid state motor vehicle license.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
One to two years of related experience.Good computer skills.
