QA Lead

Job Duties:

• Defining testing strategies to ensure the product being released is up to industry and company standards;

• Creating quality assurance deliverables and ensuring the team meets deadlines while identifying risks and creating risk mitigation plans;

• Leading the design and implementation of Data Driven automation framework using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG;

• Identifying future automated testing needs and scope, and planning and leading the creation of automated testing plan;

• Evaluating the testing team throughout the life of the project to identify areas where improvements can be made in process and leading the charge to develop process improvement changes and implement changes using a structured change management approach;

• Creating, executing, maintaining and enhancing test cases;

• Managing all phases of quality assurance testing, and performing hands on testing including Module Level Testing, System Testing, and System Integration Testing;

• Performs GUI Testing, Functional Testing, Compatibility Testing, System Testing and System-Integration Testing;

• Coordinating with the members of the business analysis, development and test teams to solve issues;

• Overseeing IT QA objectives and developing testing team to maximize potential;

• Engaging in strategic planning to accomplish company, department or unit objectives;

• Acting as a resource for understanding impact of features across one or more products;

• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, i.e., QA, business analysis, delivery leads, helpdesk, development and operations;

• Creating and maintaining a project plan to track completion/delivery of IT testing efforts;

• Provide regular project status updates, including risk to stakeholders;

• Conducting coordination meeting and provide status reports, including presentations for executives;

• Motivating team members to resolve conflicts and advance the QA activities and deliverables;

• Supporting the implementation of test automation framework and performance testing framework in partnership with third parties;

• Identifying test cases for automation and performance testing from existing test cases and;

• Supporting the implementation of a DevOps framework in partnership with third parties.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related role managing all phases of software Quality Assurance Testing (QAT), including Module Level Testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing, GUI Testing, Functional Testing, Compatibility Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Regression Testing;

• 5 years of experience with creating Test Plans, and with leading the design of high-level test scenarios, test cases and test scripts (both manual and automated); and

• 5 years of experience with Selenium, Selenium WebDriver, Java, Katalon Studio, TestNG, Eclipse, Maven, Log4J, Jenkins, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), JIRA Test Rail, Postman, and SQL.
