Job Purpose:We are searching for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic graphic designer who is looking for an exciting challenge and the opportunity to work with an outstanding team. This designer works both in digital and print media, is an innovative thinker and has no shortage of creative ideas.The successful candidate will have a diverse portfolio of creative work encompassing thoughtful designs ranging from social media graphics to email marketing campaigns to printed collateral and anything in between. Portfolio work should showcase unique concepts of your own design that utilize outstanding typography and demonstrate your ability to carry a concept from inception to completion. Experience in other creative disciplines such as photography or motion graphics is a plus.Essential Functions:
Assist in the development/brainstorming of unique and innovative concepts based on business objectivesCreate high-quality print/digital ads & emails, signages & front-end web graphicsAssist in in-house photoshoots and selection of stock photography for engaging creative campaignsExecute non-template projects from start to finishWork closely with the designers on the team, copywriters, marketing, and developers to ensure optimal outcome for final materialsCollaborate on implementation of website/email marketing A/B tests to increase sales performance and improve customer experienceProactively seek necessary information on project requirements to ensure clarity and alignment on timelines, deliverables, and assetsQualifications:
Degree in art, communications, or related fieldMinimum 2-4 years design experience with a portfolio that shows digital & print projectsA strong portfolio demonstrating your process and execution of good designExcellent typography skills, a great eye for color, layout and detailsA thorough understanding of working within a brand in order to build and enhance while maintaining brand integrity and consistencyExpert skills in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Microsoft PowerPointAdvanced digital production skills: Thorough knowledge of all facets of digital art, print graphic, and other areas or digital advertisingIllustration and animation are a plusStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAn ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines with high-quality workMust be a self-motivator, possessing the ability to work effectively with little supervisionUnderstanding of sizing, resolution and compressing of art files for both web and print.Physical Demands & Work Environment:The Graphic Designer must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and sit for various lengths of time. They must be able to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs.
This is primarily a sedentary office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances.
Cognitive Demands:The Graphic Designer be able to multi-task various projects at once and work well under pressure and tight deadlines with a friendly and professional demeanor.
