Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth in the apparel division.Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including potential partnerships, collaborations, and sales channels.Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and industry influencers.Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and operations, to develop and launch new products that align with market demands.Create and present business proposals to potential partners and clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of collaboration.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and business development efforts.Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.Required Skill Set:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.Experience:
10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the apparel or fashion industry.Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the apparel market, trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.Strategic Thinking:
Ability to think critically and strategically to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.Relationship Management:
Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.Analytical Skills:
Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and performance metrics to make informed business decisions.Leadership Skills:
Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Adaptability:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, showing resilience and flexibility to navigate challenges.Compensation/Benefits:
The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $180,000.00 - $200,000.00.
