The

Senior Recruiter , reporting to the Regional HR Director will be responsible for recruiting for our high-level and/or technical roles and supporting all regional recruiting efforts. Additionally, this individual will help to develop and build effective strategies for growing our pipeline of qualified candidates.

ResponsibilitiesManage and build candidate pipelines to support numerous exempt requisitions that cover a multitude of skill sets and functionsDetermines and coordinates recruiting and new candidate sourcing needs on an ongoing basis by consulting with regional leaders, and hiring managers to align talent strategies with business objectivesCreate job postings that list requirements for each job, such as desired work experience, education, and job skills posting them internally and externallyEfficiently review resumes identifying the most qualified candidates to move forward in the evaluation processLocate qualified, potential applicants using databases or online job posting boardsPerform initial outreach to candidates to gain their interest in job opportunitiesCommunicate with potential applicants by phone, email, or in-personSets appointments, makes travel arrangements for candidates, conducts interviews with prospective candidates; schedules follow-up interviews as needed.Deliver best-fit candidates to Hiring Managers in a timely fashionProvide detailed, accurate interview notes along with hiring recommendations to hiring managersSend offer letters and release candidates not selectedCommunicate progress and coordinate changes with hiring managers and candidatesManage candidates and workload through UES' applicant tracking system (ATS)Follow up with candidates prior to their first day and periodically throughout their first 90 days of employmentBuild and maintain relationships with regional academic institutions, thirty party vendors, and other talent pipelines to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.Design and execute regional internship programMaintain activity, pipeline, and outcome metrics through weekly and monthly reportsAssists managers in responding with meaningful feedback to internal candidates not selectedTravel to branch locations to develop and deepen relationships and understanding of our various rolesMaintain confidentiality of all personnel and candidate informationAssist with integration of new systems, processes, and proceduresOther projects as assignedQualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred5+ years of experience recruiting and sourcingAt least 2 years in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industryDemonstrated success with direct sourcing and passive candidate engagement.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and social media applicationsExcellent analytical skills to track metrics and interpret data for strategic recruiting campaignsEffective communication skills both written and verbalStrong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationshipsAvailability to travel within the United States to visit branch locations within the Midwest region, attend job fairs, interviews, and networking events
