We provide our customers with the best MRO, safety and metal working products and services in the industry.We are seeking an Account Manager to be responsible for developing strong customer relationships and growing business, sales and related services to our customers in Northern Alabama. Account Managers partner with our Specialists, supplier representatives, and customer experience teams to offer new and existing customers a wide variety of solutions designed to improve their bottom line. This is a great opportunity for a sales-minded professional who has a desire or interest in working with industrial tools.Summary of Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple accounts within an assigned territory, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintainedEstablish and implement sales growth plan for each customer and locationGain consistent understanding of our Value Proposition and execute itAlways look for ways to provide value to our customers, documenting cost savings and reporting back to the customerPartner with local supplier representatives and Specialists to create value and improved efficiencies for all customersDevelop a pipeline of customer prospects through networking, referrals, research and cold calling, utilizing our CRM (Proton AI)Plan, organize and schedule territory developmentKeep updated on product and industry knowledgeMastery of Stellar systems and toolsStrive to constantly improve

Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPassion for helping people solve dynamic problemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to interpret complex informationSelf-motived with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environmentAbility to listen effectively and interpret customer needsAbility to prioritize workload and be detail orientedProficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPointValid driver licenseWillingness and flexibility to travel overnight, specifically for training and sales meetings

Experience3-5 years of sales experience, preferably within industrial or manufacturing industryStrong mechanical or technical aptitude is a plusExperience with cutting tools, metalworking, tapes, abrasives or adhesives is desired, but not required

EducationBachelor's degree preferred, but not required
